Heavenly Cloud Dessert Squares

Ingredients

  • 6  egg whites
  • 1/2  teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 1/2  cups sugar
  • 1  pint )2 cups) whipping cream
  • 2  (3-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4  cup sugar
  • 1  teaspoon vanilla
  • 2  cups miniature marshmallows
  • 3  to 4 cups raspberries, blueberries or sliced strawberries,

Directions

  1. 11Heat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease 13x9-inch pan. In large bowl, beat eggwhites with cream of tartar until frothy. Gradually add 1 1/2 cups sugar,beating continuously until stiff peaks form. Spread in prepared pan. Placein 400°F. oven; turn off heat. Leave meringue in oven 3 to 4 hours or untiloven is completely cool.
  2. 22In large bowl, beat whipping cream until thickened and soft mounds form; set
  3. 33aside. In small bowl, beat cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar and vanilla until
  4. 44smooth and creamy. Fold cream cheese mixture into whipped cream; fold in
  5. 55marshmallows. Spoon and spread cream mixture over meringue. Cover;
  6. 66refrigerate 3 hours. To serve, cut into squares; top with fruit.
